I am planning to take part in a challenge climb along with some friends in the autumn of 2008

This will be a once in a lifetime experience for us all and there are two main reasons why I will be taking on this challenge

1. The trek itself. Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain and relatively few people will ever climb to that height. It will be a great personal achievement and something I've wanted to do for many years

2. More importantly there is the challenge of raising thousands of pounds for a Christian School in Kenya.

We hope to travel in September or October 2008 as this time of the year provides the best weather conditions in the region.
